That is funny, but payback may come some day! On a similar note I used some Mothers back to black on my handlebars, seat and cowl and gas tank and does it ever work good. You wouldn't think they would fade that fast but it looks brand new again.
hi guys,
i got off of work early today, nothing to do. the shop is spotless. i clutched a ford F350 4x4 this morning. the center splined part of the friction disc. came apart! i had to pry the tranny away from the engine and out of what was left of the clutch!
Hi Jack, how long did it take to do the clutch on the F350 4x4? Any idea of the repair bill total?
Sounds like it was a mess, wonder if it was from lots of abuse or just luck of the draw......
I never have done a clutch on a vehicle. Only vehicle that ever needed a clutch was my 87 mustang, and I just bought one and took it to the local ford to get it done.
Wouldnt mind learning how though, my 89 is gonna need one as it has over 200k and the clutch hasnt been done yet.
How does your 89 clutch feel? It might go for a long while yet if treated gently.
To save waer I carefully shift without using the clutch if and when I can.
