Thanks everyone for the luck wishes. I'm sure we will both get what we want. So discussing funds and things we need to buy, my fiancée tells me we need to get engagement photos... so I ask how much they are going to be. She said a couple hundred bucks.... I had to bite my tongue because engagement photos are a waste of money to begin with, and now I have to spend a couple hundred dollars on that crap! What we do to keep our women happy.... anyways rant over. Nothing new for me to report. Going down south in weekish to go for a good friends bachelor party. Hopefully I can get my lift kit installed then but I doubt it. I hope everyone I staying busy

Randy, Randy, Randy... Please find your ********* and make use of them . Realizing that we all want to be happy, you have to remember that always giving is not the key to happiness. A few of the guys here have been married WAY longer than I have, and I'm sure they would agree that you have to speak your mind and call a spade a spade from time to time. You think engagement photos are a waste of your couple hundred bucks, say so. Be diplomatic about it though, like say "engagement photos?? Are you out of your effing mind??" Kidding...that wouldn't be the best approach. But perhaps... "I think that cost would be better put to use buying new tires for my truck". Wait...maybe that's not the right way either I guess what I'm saying is you have to step up to the plate and express yourself. I've never been one to hold back on my feelings and opinions with my wife, or when we were dating. There has been a couple blessed silent moments because of it, but in the long run its for a greater good. It goes both ways though, the shoe will be on the other foot a time or two I wish you the best either way. I know some guys love to dote on their women and give in to their every wish and desire. Whatever works for you chum!!

Evening everyone. I actually had a good discussion with my fiancée a few minutes after I posted my rant. She informed me that the "couple hundred bucks" was just a guess and we both agreed that we will not be paying that much for the photos. Now, the reason why she wants engagement photos is to test out the photographer, or so she says... regardless, we won't be paying a couple hundred dollars for them . Hope everyone has a good weekend!

Back home from out little cruise out of town and noticed the big jump in price at the gas pumps in Dryden, up to $119.9 up from $106.9 last Monday. I didn't notice a significant change in the price of crude. You sure can tell it's tourist season.

I started the CPP paperwork 5 mths ahead of time & they were still 3 mths late,
keep after them & they will give you back pay

 

$1.054 here, diesel is $.969, time to drive my 01 F250 for a while.

 

Looks like our prices are the same. Nice to see diesel under a dollar.

 

I buy some of my truck parts fron CPP.
