Went to the Remembrance Day service in town which is always nice and well attended. Was nice and sunny but not very warm. Did get my brakes bled on the 81 today and it stops a lot better, next on to repairing the universal.
Hopefully everyone had a meaningfull and safe Remembrance Day holiday.
We ended up bumping the tip of a deer hind quarter Monday evening, lots of damage to the Escape left hand side plastics but hopefully not much to this deer. We couldn`t locate it after the impact so hopefully it wasn`t badly hurt. Luck was on our side as I only bumped this deer by mere inches as it tried running across in front of us.
Morning boys. The ground is covered with 2" of white crap again Supposed to be 9 above on Sunday though, so it shouldn't stick around.
Too bad you smoked a bambi Morris, but good it was a light bump. It'll still probably be a 4k claim on the Escape. The deer are getting pretty active again now with rut starting. We watched a small herd of them yesterday evening. Mid sized buck had his nose to the ground looking for his next fling. Season opens in 8 days
Have a great Thursday guys, another week just about complete!!
My wife hit a deer this summer but luckily not much damage to the deer or the van. Lots of Moose and Antelope around these parts but not many deer these days.
Neat truck Gerry, another one from the internet?
We weren`t as lucky as your wife Colin and on Tuesday we find out just how much damage there is on the Escape. I wouldn`t doubt that it`s in the 4k range. Deer are more active and when hunting season comes it`ll get worse yet.
A nice forecast if this comes true: http://www.cjwwradio.com/index.php?o...1146&Itemid=96
