Just a little foggy this morning (the weather, not me). I can hear the foghorn from the harbor. That's almost as good a sound as a train's horn from a long way off.

Be safe everyone! For those in the areas where fireworks is illegal. If you get cited tonight, it'll cost you $1000 for the citation. This is the first year, I don't have fireworks. Will be going somewhere to watch them.

I don't want to speak for Steve (he has no problem in that area) but taking someone hunting with you can get complicated. But I was wondering about a possible trap/skeet shooting G2G. I know we have a good number of shooters in the chapter, and probably some others like Brady that would like to give it a shot. What do you guys think? If we could time it a little before the Dove opener that would be perfect since some of us (me) need the tuneup, but anytime would work.

I'm not sure if it's Whittier Narrows, but I think you mean Triple B Clays:
Triple B Clays, 831 N. Rosemead Blvd. South El Monte, CA 91733 , Phone (626) 579-5201
This is the one I go to personally. I don't like it as much since they went to electronic pull boys, but it's still okay. Full service pro shop, rental guns, food service and a patio we can use to BS.

Then there is Raahauges:
MIKE RAAHAUGES SHOOTING ENTERPRISES - Corona, California
Also a good place and most of you probably know it well. Also a good choice for use.

I know there are others, but haven't used them personally.

Triple B - used to be International long ago, then Pachmayer- across from Legg Lake, right?

That sounds like a good idea for a little fun, and probably the closest location for most of us.

A weekend would likely be the easiest for most to attend, but also the peak for crowds at the range.

Yup. You're showing your age. It's on Rosemead just south of the 60 fwy.

Depending on where most of the folks are coming from, and it is about as centralized as any of them.

I haven't seen a crowd at BBB in a long time. And when I go it's always the weekend. I think Sunday mornings are their slow day. I could scout it on a morning if you want.

03 excursion cluster

Hey everyone, I just registered on this site as I'm looking for some help. I have an 03 excursion with a 6.0. The other day my son was driving it and accidently hit the tow/haul button, as soon as he hit it the instrument cluster flatlined and went blank. I have checked all of the fuses and they are good. Everything works but the cluster, any ideas as where to go from here? It does have an alarm on installed from the dealer when purchased, a guy told me that it might be a short in the alarm, however the alarm works fine.

Any help or suggestions would be welcome.
Thanks

Welcome to FTE.

I'd be afraid to guess on something like that. There are some real sharp folks in our technical forums that can probably help you out, and certainly give you better advice on this than I.

Here' a link to the Excursion Forum:
Excursion - King of SUVs - Ford Truck Enthusiasts Forums
Here's a link to the 6.0PSD Forum:

I hope you find this site useful as well as enjoyable.

Let us know how it works out for you.
