Still on track - had to send some of the escrow papers back for a re-write as they were prepared improperly, but other than that it's going well.
T-Bar - I'm not sure if that's the official nomenclature, but that's what I have always called it. There is a grid pattern (24" x 36") of metal pieces suspended from the ceiling. Looking at these pieces from an end view, they are shaped like an inverted "T". Translucent plastic panels lay in the frame work of the grid. Fluorescent tube fixtures attached to the ceiling provide the illumination.
I would have preferred to have done that - it's a much nicer look. In this house it really wasn't worth the effort it would have taken. It was originally a flat-roof, and had a 5/12 pitched roof put on as part of some remodeling (added air conditioning, changed windows, etc). I couldn't justify the amount of work that would have been necessary to put in cans. (running wire, hacking holes in the former roof. )
But I was happy to go through the hassle of pulling of a fuse box on my truck and doing the high-idle mod that I probably don't even need. I guess keeping the truck has something to do with it. That's my story, anyway.
Some Brazilian model that was born on July 8, 1985.
Hey, Brady's the one who wanted to know what happened on that day!
I'm just trying to give him what he asks for.
