Can't stress enough just following the steps. When I got mine, the directions were VERY intimidating! But as I read them over & over, I pretty much was ready when I cracked open the trans. Having done it, I would do it again in a heart beat. It's WAAAAY more intimidating than difficult. Take your time, do one valve at a time, and make sure they move correctly when you put them back together. That's where the deburring comes into play. You have to make sure the bore doesn't have a bur which will bind the plunger. Assuming you even have to drill. Not all need drilled.
EDIT: Kind of poetic -- "You've got a bur in your bore!"...
A quick note about the solenoid pack connector. Squeeze the connector and pull up to disconnect it. You will feel the lock on the back connector. Do not use screwdrivers or other instruments of distruction to remove it.
If you break the connector replace it. Just plugging it in without the lock will allow it to work loose. That can lead to a tranny failure.

I had to pull that plug to remove my trans and didn't have any trouble getting it off the connector. I have the 4'' exhaust and just felt my way around it.
FWIW. I don't know of anyone with a super duty that had to drill the holes in the solenoid pack. I would just skip that part if I had to do it over again.

Well, I would agree except that was the nastiest part I pulled down and it needed cleaning.
