The only thing I have heard bad about Powder Coating is if you chip it, scratch it or damage it it is much harder to fix. Since I think this truck is going to get some miles, I decided to go with this product. I have seen the POR Product in action and it is TOUGH!
Morning all .Beautiful here in Lincoln. My computer was down so i still havent received all my email yet. If I dont get one in a couple hours I will call on the shirts.
Good evening all. I DID NOT WANT TO COME TO WORK TONIGHT!!!! What I wouldn't do to be sitting at home with a beer. What a beautiful day out! Got the spark plugs/wires changed out on the 97 today. If any of you have done this on the 4.6, you know how bad it sucks!

Well, I might go that route on my next project instead of the powder coating. Probably be cheaper too. Do you get the framed sandblasted off first?
Oh, yeah, here are the pics of the rims I bought for the 'Stang. These should really look nice on it.

I've done two heater cores in those pickups......not fun. I never got the joy of changing spark plugs, but I know just from the looks of it that it sucks. That's one nice thing about this Dodge.......looks to be fairly easy to work on. I have yet to find out. I doubt it will be as easy as this '69 though

Well, then, you should get rid of that dodge, and get another Ford like you had, then you could change the plugs and know what it's like......
I would never tell you this just to have you get rid of that dodge!!LOL!
Pat, those rims are really cool. Even better than I thought. For some reason I didn't think they would have the Mustand in the hub. Now thats "original equipment".
