Of course I need to get my 56 Frame done before Cruise nite. Plan on having the frame done, engine set, tranny in, drive shaft in and brake lines plumbed. Don't want you guys to think I am some kind of slacker when you are here.
Frame will be painted with the POR 15 Primer then painted chassis black. Its going to be a driver so don't want to get too wound up on the frame. I have a 5.0 370+ hp, an AOD Transmission and 4 wheel disk brakes. Have not decided what gears I am putting in the rear end yet 3.50 or 3.72.
Evening all, just got time to sit down. Been working on getting ready for the concrete tomorrow. I'm putting a shed in the back yard. We need to get some stuff out of the garage. I hauled 1.2 tons of limestone in my truck today. Amzing how easy it went, can't say enough about that 4.9L and the torque.

Hey Doug. I built a shed in my backyard about 4 years ago. It took butt load of concrete, since I had to go by Elkhorns Code. Footing went 12 inches down from the bottom of the pad, 12 inches in from the edges, and back up at a45 degree angle. I could've landed a helicopter on this pad!!

I wonder if that is tougher than powder coating? If I ever got the 67 started, I was going to try to get the frame and suspension parts up to a place called Valmont, just outside of Valley, Ne. I know a few people there, and they've said on occasion they've powder coated car parts. I'm just wondering what would be better.
