Here is something and it won't cost you anything but for all the machining work find a small machine shop someone that's been around awhile and ask what it would cost to do what you need done to that 390.

I have a shop I go to. If I ever get time off (from the looks of things around here, might be a while) I'll have to stop in and ask. I'm sure they've done it before, they do tons of drag race motors.

The friend I went and visited is the one with the K Code. He is planning on bringing it to Kearney or his 66 Fairlane. He has not decided which one yet. His Fairlane is a 289 and 3 speed but in Awsome shape. He bought it from some little old lady in Denver - Got a heck of a deal on it.

That's what I need to find! Did you check out that one from ebay that I posted on here last night? Go back and click on the link 66 Fairland 428. It's a pretty interesting car. I hope he brings that K-code, I'd like to see that!

HEY GUYS,
good evening all! how's everybody weekend? mine was uneventful! the wife had to work all weekend! and i did call my mom on mothers day and i also sent her a card. and i also watched a race on saturday.
kyle busch won. i drank a bunch of beer and relaxed! it rained all weekend so i didn't grill either! and i wanted to bbq a pork roast. that my wife bought. were doing the roast tonight. my wife cut steaks out of the roast.

i know how it is! i work at a transmission shop! out here! i pulled 2 trannys
out today both 4x4's, 1 dodge, 1 ford f250 , and a side cover on a 93 lumina. the car had shift soleniod problems. i work on all sorts of vehicles!
i'm a mechanic by trade i guess! i've been doing this work for over 30 years. i am a mechanic! and i support this message! i'm ford ranger and i'm running from nothing or anything!
