Well it looks like they should have a lot of time to get the bugs out of it if they already are testing it in a truck

I dont know why but when I see they way the hood is taller and elongated I immedeatly think straight 6. Is that a hood latch on the outside up on the bumper??? Oh and why do you think the gas cap is taped off?

If anybody actually KNEW if there was a 6.7 "scorpion" in there, they'd know if it was v8 or i6

I'd like to think straight 6, but it would be too good to be true.
Nothing wrong with a hardy v8 with common rail setup...

I put 1.00$ that its a 6.7 v8, like the 6.4 only more egr and dpf type junk.

I'm sure your right because it says "reliable sources tell us". But the again they could just be blowing smoke. I wonder how much them reliable sources make

Hope the hood style is improved between now & then.

Any thoughts on hp/lb-ft? MPGs?

Like the sound of the 6spd auto, but still prefer a manual.

I6 would be nice, but don't think that will be happening.

Those look like decent enough figures. But we still have 3yrs until it's released and who knows what the competition will be pushing then.

Hopefully Ford will have worked out many of the mpg bugs experienced with the 6.4L due to the new emissions equipment by 2011.

I heard a rumor that the 6.7 will be available in the 2009 model year, near the end of production. Another source said the 6.7 will make 400 to 350 hp, and 700+ lb tq.

If these numbers are accurate, daddy might be getting a new truck sooner than I thought.

4-6 bucks a gallon.....we need more cid. let me guess 2010 emissions outlaw diesel fuel all together, you'll need to buy a special smokeless fuel so there is more air for CHINA to pollute.....were going down hill fast and this seems like a push
