I am sure the competition will have the same hp and tq numbers. But hopefully fuel mileage will go up. Not likely though if the freakin epa wont back off.

The front grille looks like an '08 thats been lobbed off to accept the overbite of the hood. I think with the correct grille the truck might look okay. I really like the looks of the '08's, though.

If you look close that front end is just kinda cobbled together for testing I guess, they either pushed the bumper out farther or brought the grill in more from the looks of where that hood latch is. That hood is ugly as heck, I hope thats just temporary.

Highly interesting to say the least.

Hopefully there is going be a good candidate to replace my '07 when it can't run anymore and reads 400K+ on the clock.

That hood has to just be temperary. Look click on the closeup picture of the front end, and look at the gap between the hood and fenders on either side. The gapping is off a bit. Hard to tell what Ford will do next. Hopefully they will stick with this 6.7. Too many engine changes the past few years.

Well I hope they do better than the 6.0 did when it first came out, or the first few 6.4 diesels that came out, But they will never get any mileage if the EPA keeps choking them down with emissions crap, I don't understand why we can't take a torch and cut all that crap out, but I'm sure they got it where the truck won't ever run at all if you do that.

7.3 was off to a bad start when it first came out and the 6.9 had problems too. I had a 95 7.3 turbo and it had problems, had a 96 PSD and it would release the surpintine belt when you let off the thottle....pulleys were not alligned just right.

That seems to be the problem. If you decide to wait a couple of years to let the bugs get worked out then Ford has already switched to a new motor and your back to waiting again. It's hard to believe the 6.4 will only be offered for 2 model years.

the hood has been photo shopped..... you can see where they made the shadows too dark on the ridge lines of the hood. and if you look above the drivers side headlight you can see the little piece of the hood that is hanging down from where they didnt line their pasted image up right......very poor photo shopping job if you ask me.....

Ummm...No. Thats a piece of rubber weather stripping, you can see that it is because it is raised up, and those shadows look perfectly fine to me.

These trucks are worked on all the time when testing new engines and such. Holes are drilled for sensors and such, pieces may be unbolted on the spot if its affecting engine operation, which is why all the body panels are loose like that.

blow the picture up and look at it. you can see a very distinct white box that has been pasted over the hood. directly above the drivers side turn signal. i have NEVER seen a shadow that has a perfect box shaped white spot in the middle of it. compare the shadows on the hood crease to the shadows on the rest of the truck(right above the cab steps if you need an example). it isnt even close. if you think the shadow in the hood crease isnt photo shopped, i challenge you to find one for me in nature that looks like that.....

Its still a piece of rubber, you can tell. Plus trying to tell if a picture is photoshopped is pretty difficult when the picture is saves as a hugely compressed jpeg, and there are artifacts all over the place. What reason would anyone have to photoshop the truck anyways?
