I have flowmaster cat-back exhaust on my 01 F-150 and it is pretty quiet as well - I was a little disapointed with it too.

As much as I like a loud exhaust like that it will just get you in trouble and make a bad name for enthusiasts. I must be getting old(er)!
thanks. the flowmasters sound good, just a little on the quiet side for now... hopefully they break in with the same sound they have now, just louder...
I have a dual cat back Magnaflow on mine and it got a bit louder after some break in but not all that much louder. I like a deep rumble now, not necessarily all that loud like I used to.
