the gaskets are pretty simple... still a P-I-T-A that i shouldn't have to deal with though!!

I have flowmaster cat-back exhaust on my 01 F-150 and it is pretty quiet as well - I was a little disapointed with it too.
It should sound like this:

Those rims are nice looking!
As much as I like a loud exhaust like that it will just get you in trouble and make a bad name for enthusiasts. I must be getting old(er)!

thanks. the flowmasters sound good, just a little on the quiet side for now... hopefully they break in with the same sound they have now, just louder...

I have a dual cat back Magnaflow on mine and it got a bit louder after some break in but not all that much louder. I like a deep rumble now, not necessarily all that loud like I used to.

Well flowmasters dont break in that much sherm so if the 44s are like the 40s it dont get much louder
