well... i'm sort of dissapointed but pleasantly suprised as well... the guys did a really, really awesome job, but the thing is so quiet... ... quieter than my s'crew... but it does sound nice. i'll get clips tomorrow as i still have to pick it up... was by myself and have yet to master the art of driving 2 trucks at once...
Quiet does keep the law happy, perhaps they`ll burn in a bit and be abit louder.
I don`t know what I want for the 67 Mustang, some sound is great but when you walk on it hard that creates a problem.
they sound pretty awesome actually. not loud, but a nice growl that produces wood when you tramp it. the truck goes like stink. i didn't get any video as it is dark, but tomorrow morning i'll try to remember to get some. i can't wait to clean the block and get rid of the burning smell from the new exhaust components.
the mufflers are flowmaster super 44's, and its majorly quieter than my s'crew!! the wife couldn't hear me taking off over the sound of the s'crew...
no clips yet... i'm rather pissed off. the valvecover gaskets i got from Ford leak like a basket. NEVER buy the copper gaskets with the rubber seal. tomorrow i'm getting a good set of felpro's and getting that taken care of. other than that, i got to wash the block and make sure nothing else is leaking... still got a little sputter, suspect i should change the other fuel filter. stay tuned....
say, would 1200PSI water pressure be too much to clean the block??
I hear that, we all have that problem. Whoever says they don't has a girlfriend who lies......
funny... i must have missed that post earlier... nice to know i'm not alone...
thanks colin... tomorrow its a soak with the spray 9 then hose her down... replacing those valvecover gaskets too... should give someone a piece of my mind but i'd have nothing left...
