Not sure was bought like this. But I remember seeing this chrome on one color trucks back then!
Cool. I was thinking the horizontal piece at the back of the cab that runs into the ends of the drip rail moldings was only used if the roof is a different color.
The guy who built it did a great job. Front solid axle on coil springs out of a '75. Even has tilt, cruise, and dealer installed economy air conditioning. Just put the new carpet, and kick panels in yesterday. Sorry the pics are dark.
Been looking for a Bronco,,, 78/79 or newer, saw this a while back, talked to the guy,,, he was pretty proud of the D60's so I passed, well he calls me up and has sold his house and needs to move,,, so now I have a Scab! WITH D60's I might add hahaha! Not sure what I'm going to do with it just yet, he lived in Mariposa county which is a no smog zone,,, I however have to smog it, and am really tired of dealing with that BS every 2 years,,, so if anyone is looking for a clean Scab,,, let me know!
Figured I'd share a couple from last weekend.............Was at the Hotwheels in Milwood show, and they asked if they could have a couple photos taken with the girls. I said, "Knock yourself out"...........they even got one of my mini-me version of Buford.........maybe I should call him "Weeford".
