Reason: premature post ...
Thanks GIGGER, only change I might make is put the back cab trim on and go white with the cab roof, really like that look......... oh and maybe a little lift........ sitting at stock height with 33's now.
I've been debating on what color to paint mine, never seen that blue in such good shape lol. Autofab.com does some good stuff with th old i-beams for lifts
Looks pretty good up close too.... if you don't mind overspray and some qustionable rust bleeding through PO did a re-paint maybe 2-3 years ago color is really close a slight shade darker than the factory you can see in some spots but all in all okay. I really like the dark blue and white or Red and white. Definately like the 77-79 side body trim seems a bit more finished at front and back.
Thank you Gigger. I love seeing all these supercabs .I'm collecting parts for the things i'm wanting to do should be alot of fun plus these forums will help alot too.
Doesnt look like much, but it was a complete frame off.
Every nut, bolt and rivet was replaced on the frame.
Every possible thing was either replaced or rebuilt.
It still needs a couple spots of rust repaired on the bed, and it needs painting, but if you look under the cab or at the frame you would be impressed.
