Thats good, so far

So far i have 144k km's on the civic, and the only problem it had was when my woman hit the ditch with it going 90 on a grid road haha.

I knew it, a civic isn`t safe at any speed on a grid road....

I'm guessing it was Whipped Preppy who pull her out.

Just leave it parked in your garage and never drive it, don't you.

At least with the fuel pump, Ford paid for the parts and labour on a "campaign" which means a secret recall that they don't tell you about until it breaks down so we were only out the $$ for the rental and $100 for diagnostics testing. At least the Ford dealer (Keystone???) was willing to do that, we came in at about 5 on a Friday afternoon...

Whats it like on fuel?

I found out why mine is so damn good on fuel. It didnt come with the 150ish hp I thought it did, it came with 115!

While its not a powerhouse, its phenomenal on fuel, and doesnt go that bad when ya rev er up high haha.

The Zetec in mine is thirsty for a 2.0L. 450-500 km/tank in winter. In the summer on the highway, can go 600-650 on a tank. Yeah, it's got pretty decent power, especially when you wind out the revs. Mines a 5 speed, BTW.

Yeah thats not the greatest for a car but decent i did a mileage check on my 93 i got about almost 450 km on both tanks city driving and that was mixed driving like a grandpa and gunnin it sometimes.. more than half of it was with sandbags in the box and idle time cause some days where cold it gets pretty good on the highway too i think i could do even better if i wouldnt of gunned it around the few times i did

So far this truck has impressed me with gas mileage for a 1/2ton pickup with a big motor
