I checked the Ohms on my GP's and got a reading of .001 on all except for 1 which had .018.
Have read that a good reading will be .8 or so.
Am not real handy with a multi-meter and its operation.
Does this sound right?
Not really, Does you meter have more than one ohm range setting? Sounds like you are in the 1K ohm range. You want to be in the 100 or 10 ohm setting (some meters are 200 or 20 ohm as well)
Ok, I am still trying to learn how to use a multi-meter. Went back out and rechecked. Starting with the passenger side bank front to rear, 0.7 19.7 0.7 0.6 Driver side front to rear, 0.7 0.7 no reading 0.7
So from this i take away i have 2 bad (maybe one thats not plugged in under the VC) GP's
Looks like next weekend is glow plug replacement day.
Yep ZD-11 or the old number is ZD-10. You are correct in that you have 2 bad plugs or wiring issues. Since its 1 on each bank it probably the GP's themselves.
The only place around here that has the zd11's is Orielly's auto parts, will order them from there. 9bucks a piece. can not do it till next weekend anyway. Have to be up in Charleston WV sunday night.
