FWIW,
I have dealt with TW, BTS and ITP and all three are not the fastest at returning a phone call. People with a good business are normally busy because they are dealing with customers. There isn't always enough time in the day to do things.
AMEN TO THAT!!! This is why you'll find me answering email messages at midnight and working on weekends when I'm supposed to be closed.
Regaurdless of what TW does for a job, how many members do you think have two jobs? I do and I know others do too!!!
Remember, that wasn't meant as a dig. I've been there and the simple fact is that things are different when you have a "day job" to count on vs. when your only source of income is your own business. I will be the first to admit that I'm no business genius, never took business classes in college...I just did what seemed right. When I had a day job to fall back on, I treated things differently. I looked at my profits from the business as "play money" to work on my truck or "extra" money to put toward something we needed. I was less concerned with the bottom line because I could be. When I quit my day job and started running ITP full time...the importance of that bottom line and paying the bills made me give a LOT of serious considerations to how products are discounted, etc. This is why I quit selling a bunch of the products I used to sell...price competition is no way to run a business and be successful...it's a fast way to a nervous breakdown in my opinion.
Really, this is warm? I think this has been a very civil conversation! I couldn't be more civil when you consider that I've suggested checking out all of the options and going with whichever fits the customer best (which might not be what I sell).

It's a little warm. I've done business with you, Jody, and a few others on this forum and I have yet to have a bad experience. I just don't want to get caught up in the middle of anything. I value your services too much!!
I don't think there is anybody on here that runs a bad business. I've heard nothing but good about TW, and I can understand he's a busy guy. But the littlest bit of communication can go a long ways. The place I used to work had horrible communcation and it was evident in the attitudes of the employees and the way and how quickly things got done.
Tony did a great job on the chip first time around. I had high idle, 50tow, 80econ, & 125hp settings. The high idle is great, especially when it's been down to -20* air temp lately, as well as when trying to jump start other equipment. The 50 & 80 settings weren't working, but from talking with TW with my truck being an early '99, the chips don't get along the best with the PCM. I purchased a newer PCM and sent the chip back for reburn. I'm anxiously awaiting the return to see how everything works!

Ditto. I have been very happy with my ITP and DP Tuner experience. Email is the only way to go with either company. Dennis says it right on his website.
