Yep 10-15 minute install. Took me longer to get the connector off the trans than it did to install The Cure in the connector. Works great!! As for price its listed on the Website. Due to some testing mine is not in right now and I miss it!!

Question

My transmissión has a little vibration between 2nd and 3th, the other changes are fine. I have some questions:

1.- The CURE will correct that?
2.- Im planning to buy a chip from TW, and he recomended to install a VB that works mechanical and not electronically, the question is the CURE would be right instead the VB?
3.- I have the DIY exhaust brake with the TC lock, I have to change something about the TC lock if I install the CURE?

Sorry for but I think it is related.
Thanks in advance.

The answer to all three is no.

I will explain what the Cure does.

First the problem. The pcm at the OD shift point (some calibrations 3rd as well) momentarily unlocks the torue converter. This causes a longer shift, loss of power transfer, more loss of boost, more heat, and more wear and tear on the TC clutch.

As of now a chip can't fix this. The Cure is the only product that fixes this issue. The Cure doesn't change the PCM but does fix the TC unlock at each shift (OD and 3rd). It does this on the upshift as well as the downshift. Decel downshifts and the Kickdown shift out of OD into 3rd gear. My truck now hold more boost at those shift points and has a percieved power gain just by keeping the TC locked at those shifts. A valve body or shift kit address other issues. The Cure only address' the TC clutch unlock at the 3rd and OD shift.

Also as a bonus buying this product helps cancer patients. It a not for profit unit!

Thanks TJ, so I have to get the chip, VB and the CURE to work together with not any issues between them?

Correct. you can get all those and not have any conflicts between them. Also here is something you might want to consider as well. I don't understand it full but I think I am gonna give it a try. It takes the place of a shift kit or valve body from what I understand so far.

1- Vibration is a vague statement. Can be a few things. Have you done any testing to see what the issue is. What is your PCM code?
2- Cure works standalone. All work excellent together (VB,pump mods,HP TC, shift kits, ect) with it.
3- Your DIY is fine. Even better depending on how you actuate the DIY.

You really need to test your TC.
If working correctly then yes you will benifit from the use of the cure.
But cannot fix a bad TC.

thats a shift point issue, a chip can address that (I think). I use my right foot to decide what gear to put it in. But that kickdown shift is sweet with The Cure I can tell you that! If I want to blow smoke I roll into it. If I want to kick it down and blow their doors off I mat it!
