I too am very curious about that!! I am anxious to get a DPF tune and pipe and would like to know what it alone holds back for power!! then the tuner is just an extra bonus!

I'm sure it will be in the 500's soon. I just now noticed that we have managed to suck the air filter minder all the way down (since I am still running the stock airbox)

Hey Matt, not feeling the love here. All of us power junkies want to know how much HP/TQ is attributed to the DPF delete.
Just curious in case we all don't want to do the delete. Is that possible with your tune?

I don't have specific numbers of with/without the DPF. These tunes cannot be run with the DPF installed; so there are no figures "with" the DPF. These tunes would clog up the DPF in short order, so deleting it is not an option but a requirement.

haha want to know the specific numbers with a DPF vs without......simple answer ~300rwhp with DPF and so far ~500RWHP without. For those that think they can run much of a tune and retain the DPF....they have another thing coming. DPF will fail at a tremdous rate when ran with a significent tune. FACT!

Simply awesome. I would think that 500/1000 would be doable on a stock truck.

Any idea how the Torqshift will hold up with 1000ft/lbs trying to twist it apart over the long run?

In other news, I can't wait till the 08s start hitting 100K so I can buy one and not have to worry about the warranty.

Mike

This is information i have on the 150HP spartan tune from dyno runs i have made. It's not the new tune Matt is running but i would think the values would be the same for the DPF restrictions. Dont know what the cat yeilds yet havent taken it off. Note,After 3 dyno runs with the tunes and the DPF the HP started droping so we stoped. After turning it back to stock, the truck went right into regen, so it does fill the DPf fast.

Stock 6.4 with CAT and DPF (runs 1 thru 5)

Average 281 HP 496 TQ

6.4 with 150 HP spartan tune's with CAT and DPF (runs 6 thru 9)

Average 360 HP 634 TQ

6.4 with same spartan tune with CAT and without DPF (runs 10 thru 12)

Average 412 HP 731 TQ

Makes you wonder how hard SCT live wire is pushing the engine to get the 120HP they claim with the DPF.
