if you were putting on an aftermarket trans. cooler, would you still bypass the rad or keep it to hold the temps high enough?

Thanks guys for clearing up the issue with my 97 5 speed manual. I understand that I do not have a cooler, correct? And that installing the 203 stat will only affect the engine coolant temperature. My stat will be in this weekend, hope to see the benefits that have described by many......CJ
