For $3K dollars, it wouldn't be a terrible truck, but it'd take for ever to get rid of all the stupid ch__ done to it.
Depending on how easy to fix some of the electriacl would be, how good the motor runs (looks like he's got a good 120 HP in stickers), and loose the body lift, gay 'custom' skid plates, lader bars, rear blocks, and about 12 shocks, then it would be a decent truck, among many other things, but the stock 1/2 ton axles aren't going to last...
At least it'd mostly just be removing things, not spending money adding.
I think it needs more gauges. The rims were cool. There was quite a good view between the body and frame too. Just in case people try to sneak up on you from the other side. It could use more lights on rollbar too.
heres the mall crawler for the day. sad thing is it looks like it built really well and finially a truck with massive tires on the right axles(sorry no half tons here). only thing is all they money in just the suspension alone and it will prob never see dirt.
definatly has some funny stuff on it but its one of the better ones ive seen in a long time. one thing i noticed after lookin at it a while longer is the triangulated 4 link rear with a panhard bar thats bent. might be a 3 link but its hard to tell.
That's just terrible. I worked on these all summer at the DPG, they're capable rigs and they had to do it like that, people should only do this to cars that are pointless, like malibus or geo's
