Official Mall Crawler Spec Thread
Well kids as your friendly Mall Crawler Specialist i thought i should make a thread pertaining to the specs you must adhere to so you can maintain your mall crawler status.
First lets talk lift. You must use at least one set of front lift blocks. Stacking springs is allowed. In the rear no need to waste money on stupid lift springs. Please stack at least two (2) 6" blocks. If you must you can also add 6" lift springs to accomidate your 20 plus inches of lift. Also stacking frames and body lift blocks is very much advised.
Now lets talk steering. Please dont waste money on crossover. Feel free to goto your local Home Depot and get some 1/2" rebar and weld it together for a z shape draglink. Plate is also a nice factor. Also if you wish cut you pitman arm and add at least 4" in the middle of it.
Shocks. You need at least 10 per wheel and placed in each and every direction. Bright colored shock boots are a must. If you must use chrome shocks make sure they are at least 15% rusted.
Tires. We only permit three (3) types of tires. The new 54" thornbird is the best option but if you cant handle the cost then feel free to use BFG A/Ts. Also the tires off your kids Radio Flyer will work.
Anything i missed anyone?

Man so 2001 Tacoma today, an estimated 8" suspension lift, probably a 4" body lift, on 40" MTs of an unknown brand, smoked headlights, clean black rims, bone stock axles, and a crossover steering set up that could have been rigged by an 8 year old autistic child with access to a bucket of bolts, a broom handle, and some gorilla glue...
PRETTY DAMN SWEET IF I DO SAY SO MYSELF!!!
