Ford stopped installing drain plugs in August, 2001. If your torque converter was built after that it doesn't have a drain plug.

No Plug
Well I just changed the filter and filled her up. I guess I ll wait a few momths and do the same. maybe I llget threst of the Goo! Too bad I'd blow the balance all to hell if I drilled and taped my own!

The old TH-400s found in a lot of GM cars and trucks had a procedure where you drilled a small hole to drain the TC. You then used a pop rivet coated with RTV sealer to plug the hole.
It was (at best) a half-fast procedure.
