torque converter drain
I plan on changing the auto tranny fluid soon on my '02 PSD. Is there a drain plug on the torque converter for this year? Approx. how many qts. of fluid are drained from the pan and converter?

No TC drain plug after mid 2001. You have to pump the fluid out. The procedure is listed on this board and at www.ford-trucks.com.
It will take about 20 qts. to pump out because you will lose some. The system capacity is 18 qts.

Most likely your 2002 does not have a torque converter drain plug. Ford stopped installing those very early in the 2002 model year.
