EGT Question
What EGT should I be staying under??
When my EGTs get up to about 1100 and I get on the throttle a bit more the check engine light sometimes comes on. When this happens boost is usually around 15 lbs.
My truck is an 02 7.3 6-speed with DP Tunes (usually 60 Tow or 80 econo), 6637 filter, Magnaflow exhaust, ATS ported turbo housing.

Have your codes read. Your truck will start to defuel at 22# boost. Your should be making more than 15# boost with the DP. Our turbo don't like more than 25# boost. I can hit 30# boost if I stay on it.
