All the (Chicago) more reason a (Chicago) fun, central, Midwest location is best. You know (Chicago) something like (Chicago) oh, I don't know, Chicago might work. I don't know if I mentioned that before....
Or......Detroit? That's pretty far East...and West.....

Have you ever camped at Indiana Dunes?...we'll be heading back there next year for sure!!!

What he said! That big polished "Bean" is Stainless Steel Baby! Staying at the "Dunes" is roughly 40 miles from Downtown Chicago by expressway (roughly 50 minutes drive off rush hour). Parking may be an issue...Mine fits underground with about 6" clearance. If you're lifted, you won't fit in the underground parking available.
However, I didn't mean we had to all meet right Downtown -- just cruise it at some point and scare people with our monstrocities. Heck, some might even gather and protest us for a while. Tell me THAT wouldn't be fun!
Rte 66 raceway has all sorts of racing events including demolition derby's and lot's of dirt type recreation -- with lots of parking above ground. That's not too far outside the city either. Just ideas.
Detroit has the Ford plant. That might be fun too.
