nope don't think so .. I used a Torx and air ratchet

 

When you go buy the torx, you might wanna get a Craftsman (or Snap On or any other tool with a lifetime warranty) because its not uncommon for those to break.

Hi...I'm wanting to get the 08 console for my husband for his birthday and have no idea about it. He has a '99 F350 super duty 4 door short bed and I'm wondering if it'll work for him and where I can get one without being jipped, cheated etc...Is Ebay the best place to get one? I got mine on Ebay, but it was a long time ago... You are aware that they are (often) sold without the brackets, right? The existing brackets in the truck won't work. Beware of incomplete packages, and never let the seller tell you that it'll "bolt right in" using the existing stuff.

 

How much are the brackets and what ones do I need to get? Thanks for the help!
