I just got a reply from the seller... I asked if the brackets were included with the console. He came back with this:


Does not have mounting brackets. They only work in 08 model.
I used large washers and the original wholes in my 2005 to mount.

Not what I was hoping for, and not really what was pictured in his posted sale... No matter. I'll work it out. It just gets me that he claims the bracketing ONLY works on the 2008's. That is contrary to what I've seen and read.

Now lets see.. Did you ever get the Cab Lights in? I'm eager to see how they look.. I got confirmation the other day that my source is almost complete with the new Low-Pro Cab Lights that was featured in a Diesel Mag

Hopefully they will be produced shortly and we can start offering them.. They are HOTT!

 

Time is my nemesis, so no on the lights (for now). I did pop the Recon lil' smokies on the mirrors. They are just too cool for a humble man. I'm looking for 5 wedge type lamp sockets so I can do the plug-n-play thing on the clearance lights. I'll wire them into the custom harness that I have yet to jig-up. I like not having to pop 7/8" holes in the roof to install the low-profiles... Just 1 little hole for the wires, and then shoot in the screws. It's very nice!

Oh yeah? Well my place PAID me to take the console and sent brackets because they felt bad. Plus a tank of dino juice and Snickers.
