For installing one of these in a truck that already has captains seats, do the existing arm rests have to be removed for the wider top to open freely and completely?
I'm going to do this mod, but need to know what to be prepared for.

FYI guys, FMCO says in the 08 sales book that it can hold a laptop. They must have been using the really, really small ones because it sure can't hold my 15.4" one. If you can get the one that is for crewcabs it will have 2 power points. One inside and one on the back. above the rear cup holders.

That's the one I have. Local Ford dealer wants $40 for brackets. WHo's that site sponsor- I'll check there too.

There are two sponsors... DirectFordParts and Y2KFordParts. I've not dealt with the first, but had good experience with Kenny (current contact) at Y2K.
