Only 116 thousand miles on my 2008. Got to get out more.

Only major maintenance so far has been brakes.

498654km (309849 miles), just retired her to on farm use and upgraded to a 2010 F250, a truck that's more suited to the job.

WILL NEVER DIE!!

'03 E-150 with 389,xxx on it. Use to be a fleet van and I have had it for 2 or 3 years had to put alternator battery tires gas and change oil otherwise still goin strong. Never has been opened up and had major work done. Use it for my daily driver it gets 17 to 23 mpg average and still pull a trailer full of scrap iron with it. Expect to hit 400,000 by end of summer. My friend drove it daily for his job and we TRIED to blow it up cuz he wanted the company to get him a new one. Nothing like throwing the trans into 2nd at 50+ mph and holding your foot to the floor. No problems with anything on van, all original nothing has been opened up engine, trans rear end, ect.

02 F150 4.2L 5 speed manual... 261,000 and counting.

Recently replaced 02 sensors, cleaned fuel injectors, intake plenum gaskets, valve cover gaskets, throttle gasket, pcv valve and isolator bolts to cure a vacuum leak and now it purrs like a kitten again.

I have a 2000, with about 235,000 on the clock and still going strong. But I've always used Mobil one and taken it relatively easy on the old big Blue, as my wife and I like to call it.

I got a 99' xlt and just went over 270K. Still runs awesome only problem ever had was I replaced the oil pan gasket.

Got a 2006 here that I ordered because I wanted the 5-speed. Also got the 8' bed, 3.55 limited slip and the towing package. That netted me the heaviest duty 5-speed that Ford would build in that year. 'Course it is 2wd since they no longer offered the 4.2 with 4x4. Anyway got 105,000 on it now and runs like a champ! I fully expect to keep it for another 10 years or more and see 200k at least before retiring it from daily use. The rust hasn't gotten to the body at all, just the bumpers and the steel wheels. I treated that with Rustoleum before it got too bad and that stopped the rust.

Did you change the gasket yourself? I thought the pan gasket on the 4.2 was 2 half moon seals for each end of the pan and a bead of silicone for the rest.

Just picked up an 03 with 117K. I'm stoked about this truck. It's going to be a great truck.
