In my gallery I have an album with some new things I have done to the truck. The album name is new additions. Let me know what you guys think of them. I think they look pretty good and will work, but maybe you guys will notice something I didn't. I have completely fabricated the pieces, so I want to make sure these mods wont cause any problems. Let me know if you have any ideas? Thanks
Yeah those are the tall ones, but I like'em like that. What do you think about the tire being there in between them? I thought it was a good place, and now I can put the bigger tank on the back.
Also do you guys think those lights on the front will cut into my cooling ability or will I be okay? I sure hope it would be okay cause they sure look pretty good.
Lookin good Casey! With those dual e-fans I don't think you'll have any cooling problems no matter what you stuff in front of the grille! I'll bet your stax get some looks over there in strudel country!
I tell you it sometimes scares me the attention I get. I walked out of my friends house after being in the house for only about 10 minutes, and I came out to about twenty people from the nieghborehood surrounding my truck taking pictures and looking it over. I was shocked. Some hate it and other love it. The Germans are very traditional and they are mostly elderly who dont like big loud trucks.
I hope you right about the cooling. These fans seem to work really well, but I guess I gonna have to wait for a warm day. Around here those are few and far between.
i think i'll go with the shorter stacks, i'm still up in the air but yours look good, i like the tire there, its just wasted space but you made excellent use of it
You know I really like the look of my stacks too. I dont think I would have as much if they were shorter, but also to help you decided I have heard that those that got shorter ones said that the noise in the cab was noticeably worse. I like mine to be loud, but not over bearing. Most of all I want the performance and the look. I hope that helps you.

looks good casey! that is the first time I looked at your gallery and I really bet them Germany's rubber neck at your truck alot! My stacks weren't as high as your were and I cut them down 6 inches and it got louder in the cab of sure.
The light will be fine there and the spare tire is a good use of the space. Not sure I would like the rear view loss there but it does look good and is a good use of space over having it just laying in the bed like my 95 was with the bronco tank in.
Thanks Tj. My wife worried about the loss of window space with the spare tire too, but I hardly ever use that mirror. I just use the ones on the doors. I guess that comes from my trucking days and trailer towing, so really no loss for me.
61 uni I got my fans for pretty cheap. I bought them on ebay I think one was for $25 and the other $20 plus some for shipping. I made the shroud myself and bought the fan controler from summint. The controler was definatly the most expensive, but I think worth it. It will turn them on and off at a set temp that I can decided, and I have a manual turn on switch if I need, plus a a/c relay so my a/c still comes out cold. I really think it is the way to go. I love not haveing the mechanical fan wasteing my power, fuel, and the life of my water pump. Sometimes it dosen't even need to come for weeks as long as you dont get stuck in traffic for an hour, your truck will usaully keep it self cool especailly at highway speeds. Hope that helps sorry it was so long.
