I give mine all kinda of shots! One tank I might run 2 stroke out board motor oil, then I might use transmission fluid and then I might use Diesel Kleen, it all really depends on what I fell like putting in the tank. The two stroke or transmission fluid I fill up a 16 0z water bottle and pour it in and I follow the directions for the Diesel Kleen . My '99 S/D,7.3, I drive around 500 miles a week for work and I am putting something in the tank at everyfill up and have been doing this for over two years and not had any problems!. I only drive my X, which also has a 7.3, on the weekends around town so a half tank might last three weeks. Both trucks seem to run better with a shot in the tank and they also sound better at an idol. Hope this answers your question. Good Luck!
Put some Pri-D in if you are needing to preserve the fuel for a while. Not sure if it's necessary for 90 days but that's what you should use.... there's no better fuel stabilizer on the market.
