foreman rider maybe you need to take some time and go read some of my posts made in the past 4 yrs on this forum. there is over 9000 of them for you to pick from and see just exactly how much I go out and bash on people then ask yourself why I seem to be going after this one. I mean truly ask yourself why I person that hasn't done any bashing except on people that are posting false info would decide to finally go after Brian
And to those that say I am the only one, no I am not, I have gotten over a dozen emails and PMs from people thanking me for finally having the guts to come out and speak out the truth, it's that people are scared to death of getting hammered on here from the people that worship at the shrine of BTS, and for those that want to do the research this is one forum that he is a god in many others bash on him for some of the same stuff I have said.

Really i dont care how many post u have put i dont have a ton of post because i dont have all day to post. As far as BTS u must be one of his competers to go out on a personal vendeta against him. I just think calling someone a liar and and what ever else you called him is just uncalled for if u disagree with some one at least give them a little respect say what you have to say and let everyone make there own conculsion.

Thanks for this post. I recently did one; asking the good points and bad points about BTS and ATS trannys. Seems no one had any good to say about ATS; but sure praised BTS. I thought it was strange no one had a bad thing to say about them. It will definitly make me reconsider my choices before making a decision. Anybody else have opions on other good trannys?

MonsterBaby (wow your name fits you),

First off, let me say that Brian and Patti Thompson are personal friends of mine. NO, I did not know them at all before I went to their shop to have a BTS tranny installed in one of our two trucks. But, because of how they treated myself and my family business wise, they have become family. Since then, I also have a BTS tranny in my Excursion.

To say that Brian Thompson is a liar and conman is out of line. You have no clue of what you are talking about, you've never met the man in person.

Do you know why you don't hear negative things about BTS?? Because they run their business far differently from how most other performance shops do. I have sat in Brian's tranny room (and inside his old shop) on numerous occasions and let me tell you, what Brian does is not deceitful. It is based off his years of experience, trial and error. And, no it's not all easy. Brian does things that many others (no, I'm not saying all, but many others) would not even think about doing inside these automatic trannys of ours. Not to mention the things he can do inside our engines.

Now, before you go off and say that I don't know what I am talking about, let me tell you, I founded the Colorado Power Stroke Club. We have well over 800 members. Name a diesel performance shop, I can tell you about them, and have probably met the owner. I know if one of them has screwed over any of my club members.

From what I see, you say you are ASE certified, which I am assuming you work in the industry. Jealous of his skills? Jealous because he has made a wonderful life for himself and his family on a beautiful lake in Arkansas? Jealous because he has done all this without treating people like crap? Jealous because he does all this without expensive advertising? Sounds like it to me.
Would your attitude change if he paid a sponsorship fee on this website?? Me, I don't get paid by businesses to promote them. I do it because I want to guide my club members to the best they can get for their trucks. I do it because not everyone has enough money to build items in their vehicles time and time again and they need it right the first time. They also need reliable customer service. Brian provides all this.
I've seen Brian GIVE AWAY more product than you could wrap your mind around. He has helped many people out who have been thoroughly screwed over by other shops. I've seen him talk on the phone for an hour with somebody who has never spent a dime with him, talking them through various things they are doing on their own.

And let me add one more thing, you say you have been deleting posts in this thread, but I see you have conveniently left all of your posts intact.
What's up with that?

I could go on and on about all the things that Brian does for folks and his expertise. No, he is not God. I only have one of that in my life. But, he is a good man and I find that nowadays those are hard to find in this business.

As a moderator of this site, you are completely out of line. I know, I moderate a site as well. Just because Brian is not a paid sponsor doesn't mean that people who post here should not be able to talk about BTS. Posting like this a bad decision you have made for your website.

Shay let me address one thing first, the part about deleting posts is I started and deleted posts before actually posting them IE I wrote a long reply or post then decided better about it so no it doesn't show up as edited.

it's not worth it anymore
this is why people wont speak up and even the moderator in this forum is scared to enforce rules on this issue

next I am basically going to say this one more time, HE SELLS THINGS YOU DON"T NEED
Oh really? How do you know what I need? Do you know what we use our trucks for?

What exactly did Brian sell that you didn't need? All I saw you post was that he told a guy he didn't need a fancy tranny pan. That actually saved him trans fluid and the pan that comes on the tranny is in the total price anyway. He could go sell that other pan to somebody else.

That tells me that Brian actually saved that guy money.

funny shay you haven't posted in this forum in over 3 yrs and suddenly one of Brians friends comes in to defend him.

Sorry if the truth hurts people you getting the truth, take it for what you want. and those that think I am jealous or a competitor you really need to check cause I have already said earlier I don't want any business, have none adn won't build a trans for you period. I have spent money on Brians stuff and know what it is, I have dealt with his customer service. think about this, if called someone else and they wouldn't return your calls you would be screaming what lousy customer service you are getting from them (many, many threads about exactly that issue) but when Brian won't return calls or emails it shows what a great guy he is cause he is sooooo busy. thats called double standard to justify your worship of the guy.

And Kris, whats wrong have to lock the thread because someone doesn't worship at the shrine of BTS? which is lame?

example 2 taking a front pump, cleaning it installing new seals, bushings and sealing rings and having it ready to install in a live build trans such as in Kris's case is smart, saves time and effort while the customer is waiting, taking that same front pump doing that same work putting it into a plastic bag and into a ford box and selling it as a new pump is dishonest.

First of all, I don't worship the guy. I do, however, have appreciation and RESPECT for somebody who does a great job and treats me and all my club members really well.

I have not posted here in a long time, true. Does that make what I say any less important? No.
Truth doesn't hurt me.

I have seen NUMEROUS trannies built at BTS. In fact, anyone who goes to BTS is right there throughout the whole build with Brian. He has nothing to hide.
If Brian put a bushing and seals in that pump, it was better than any new Ford part off the dealer shelf. That's a good deal.

I ask again, how do you know what other people need in their trucks?
How much hp and tq does your truck make?
