i did this mod, with the same lights as bear, but i used the brackets that came with the lights and attached them to the tow hitch so they basically sit on the outermost parts of the face of the hitch.
Well, the best thing to do is take those Ford lights off, and sell the S10. Then go buy a REAL truck, like an F250 or F350 and then install those lights you took off the S10.
Nice light setup. I am interested in installing the same setup on my SD. Is the relay required if I am just going to have one primary trigger (reverse light wire)? Also, where in the frame might I locate the reverse light wire?
Thanks

if you're talking about the Pilot projectors, let me offer some input...
i have them, and i don't like them. while they are super stealth and look great, being a projector-style light they emit a very focused beam... not a flood pattern like you'd really want for a backup light. if i had it to do over again i'd get something that wasn't a projector beam.
No... The UltraWhites have an acrylic rod that is mounted vertically which scatters the light in a wide angle fog light pattern. You can see the spread of the light on the pics posted my the original poster at the beginning of this thread. The projector style lights came into the picture (and a few others as well) as an alternative light because some folks either could not find the same Ultra Whites used by the OP, or just wanted to try a different light.
I've had mine since October... waiting for me to get a weekend to focus on the truck. Hopefully, when I get my oil order in I can do the oil, fuel filters, and install the backup lights all on the same day... and maybe the GP LED indicator light as well... and maybe I can even straighten out the kinked fuel line crossover hose.... and I really want to get my front end leveling kit installed... and I have two gauges that need to be installed.... and then there are those four new upfitter switches that are just itching to get hooked up to something.....
.... I'm already tired just thinking about all of it.
Tried autozone but it show nothing on their web catalogue does anyone have any ideas where I can get them for sure (Ultra Whites UW3534)thanks again Mozzy
