I didn't have to touch the shaft or yoke.

Its best if its availible to use the f-350 double cardan jointed shaft. Its different for a reason.

Ok, so I found a pitman arm with a 4" drop and pivot brackets that drop for 2." Although It doesn't say anything about changing the pivot brackets in the RSK description. I emailed them earlier this afternoon and await their reply. Looks like this is a pretty pricey mod when you add up all the parts.

Has anyone done this mod yet?

I just picked up on this thread. A few weeks back I had to find a new pivot bracket to replace one that shattered at 50 mph on a mountain highway. I ordered the Ford part and it was wrong. Unbeknownst (I think that's a word) to me, the previous owner had put a Tuff Country 2.5 inch lift on the front with the drop brackets (more precise alignment and theoretically, a better ride). So instead of a $30 factory part it cost $200 for a new pair from TC. Will one of 'em shatter again???? Not a referral but a possible source for TTB axle pivot bracket.

Will be posting in new thread...or poll.
Does the D60 conversion ride better than the TTB?

I noticed with my F350 (D60 front) that the ride is a bit rougher than an F250 with a TTB....however the stability of the truck is very impressive, much more level around corners than an F250. Now with a RSK and some proper springs with a solid axle you should have a nice smooth ride (relatively speaking), and better stability in the corners.

You might try stuffing grease between the leaves - I know it sounds a bit simplistic but what the hell, if it works great, if not, well you got a little dirty.

The front of mine rides better than the rear, I'd like to do something one day for the rear. I put Rancho 9000 adjustable shocks which helped the ride when empty, but with the 19.5" tires I need whatever I can get to help the ride. If I'm going for a long drive, I want the camper on it just so it rides nicely.

Anybody do anything for the rear?

air ride! not much can be done for the rear. I have heard of a velvet ride shackles. but I don't know anything about them. I do know they drop the rear end and inch or twoa nd there is some speculation about their strength for a loaded up truck.

I think I'm gonna hold off on this one. Which sucks because I have some down time in a week or two. I would attempt the RSK if somebody had experience doing it that I could ask if I had problems. I wish you could get all the parts in the kit. I don't want to rip apart my front suspension and then not have a needed part.

Its fairly expensive. Those pivot drops are almost rediculous for the amount of steel your getting. It almost promotes getting 2.5" leaf springs, but again I'd eventually run into the same problem in 30,000 or so.
