I bought a set of Siege Engineering horns on E-Bay for my CXT for $79 and installed them on Saturday. I already had the air setup of course, so it was just a matter of taking out the old air horn and putting the set of 4 in - took about an hour and they sound incredible.
I would imagine their full systems are just as good and are very reasonable.
cbeastwood .. did you get the Hammer 3 horns ? that's what I'm wanting and curious how they sound in real life. I've seen all their clips. Did you use their GMAX valve that came with it or have them upgrade it ?
No, I got the Hammer 4 horns, which I guess are the same except there are 4 instead of 3.
I didn't use their GMAX valve because my truck's air horn hose went directly from the factory valve somewhere under the cab to the old horn. It was just easier to put a new fitting on the end of the existing hose and thread it directly into the new horns rather than trace the air line back under the cab and run new hoses & wires.
I think my truck runs about 120 psi, btw. They are impressively loud. Let's put it this way - I don't blow them while I'm in my own neighborhood, as my neighbors already hate me.
ANY BODY KNOW WERE TO GET A GOOD SOUNDING SET OF TRAIN HORNS FOR A SD TRUCK??
Here's a site to check out. http://www.airhornsoftexas.com/truck/truck.html
They also have sound clips. I'm thinking about getting a set of the Emergency/Fire Truck (Stutter Tone) horns. Looks like the price for them (entire kit) is about $370. The train horns which sound awesome are just a little to pricey for me.

I order a complete set hammer 3's and 3 gal tank and compressor kit, they are supposed to be here tomorrow and I haven't told anyone that I am buying them gonna see how many people I can **** off or scare the crap out of. Only problem I have to wait till my new truck is delievered to install them but think I will atleast test them at home first.
well .. got my Hammer's in today .. installed .. i have to say .. they suck .. they're fairly loud .. but just high pitched .. they just don't sound like a train horn at all
I have plenty of air to flow, they are just nothing like my other horns. Tomorrow Storm and I are going to shoot some vids of our trucks .. maybe further away they'll sound better.. guess i'll have to see.
