Where can I find a new headliner for my 78 Supercab. Mine is pretty much shot because it is really warped. It isn't torn or anything, so I don't know if there is maybe some way to reshape it?
Like Boltgunner said.We supercab owners are really out here on an Iland when it comes to finding companies that make repro stuff for things that are unique to the supercab. My suggestions are either a local yard or ebay and if you find a good one that's not the right color I'd probably buy it and put the vinyl paint to-er.Regards
any home improvement store ,or lumber yard! ( jmo) part's are hard to find through LMC NPD and all those guys dont have to many of our parts.. what i did since i customed my cab with a hard wood floor, cherry toung-n-groove around the back of cab and wood door panels. I took a sheet of birch plywood and traced the old torn, worn and saggin head liner to that, applied several coats of water from a spray bottle in stages to form it close and then sanded and stained ,polyureathned it with several coats to liking. proceeded with shinny crome trim to hold it up with a extra screw or two where they belong. Itnever sagged again and never gets dirty and the compliments i get . soon to try the sun visors looking forward for that.
chriss1470: Is your headling like the one in my 76 regular cab, just larger? Mine is cardboard with lots of little holes in it for ventilation...
Since you say your headlining is OK(not torn), just warped - seems it would be possible to cut some long strips of 1/4 inch thick hardboard, wet-shape them to the overall headlining contour & then let them dry. You could then wet down the headlining until it became piable and clamp/screw it to the formed hardboard strips. You might be able to straighten & strengthen the headlining this way. When everything is dry, finally waterproof glue the strips to the upper side of the headlining to prevent the problem coming back. Cover top and bottom with an antifungal paint. This could end up as a cheap fix. All the best.

I like to keep my trucks stock looking BUT I would love to see pictures of the inside of your cab! I have never heard of hardwood floors in a supercab!!!
