SuperCab Headliner

Good Afternoon,
I am looking for a replacement headliner for my 77 F150 SuperCab. The old vinyl is still in good shape, but the backing (heavy duty cardboard) is sadly not. My clearance lights had been leaking down on the headliner/insulation, and with it being outside for the last 3 weeks, the headliner decided to give. Now that i have fixed the leaking issues I ask;

Where can I find/have a replacement headliner made?

I still have the old one to use as a template, but I cant seem to find anyone around my area that will tackle this.

Im looking too, my cab didnt have one when i got it. There are a few that have improvised and made their own with decent results.

Me three... I have the chrome trim around the edges but no headliner at all. Unforntunantly, the size is like 50"x52" so even a sheet of just about anything is too small without cutting making it out of 2 pieces. I found a good pic of someone making it out of abs but can't find it now.

I have the chrome trim and a sun roof (aftermarket) which makes it a scoth more of a pita.

I think i will try to find something supportive to re glue the vinyl to in the meantime.

Geez! Me Four! I went to a local fabric store and bought some leather looking stuff and plan on making my own. The factory cardboard is not in very good shape but it can be used as a pattern to trace over some hardboard. I'm debating to get 1/8 or 3/16" I also bought some automotive headliner foam and some spray on adhesive. The glue was expensive but I got a deal on the materials because it was "end of the roll" and I got 50% off. It's pretty good quality stuff. I also got about 6 buttons (they look like ammo) to provide a little accent. The foam is not too thick, I'd say 1/2" and should provide the look I am going for. They had other foam that was thicker but I was not looking for a big couch look. I got my cab lights too and will install those first, treat some rust areas, then probably some sound barrier and finally the custom head liner. I was also thinking of putting in some kind of stitch design but I'm not that good on the sewing machine. It's been too dark when I get off of work and its rained the last weekend so my plans are in stand-by. So far I think the supplies are under $60.00 and a hardboard from the local home center will run $10-15. I kinda wish I had the chrome trim instead of the painted one but this might turn out okay. I'll see about posting up some pictures later.

Why trade when you could make some money making a foldable template and selling it to us SC owners?

I wouldn't use hardboard. It's just stiff cardboard really. Fails if it gets damp. Most plastic shops sell PVC foam board in several thickness' and it's water proof. Can also be shaped some with heat and cut like hardboard.

I don't need the trade as I have the white trim for a supercab already, but I do have some of the chrome trim for a regular cab I can let go cheap. Problem is shipping will most likely cost a bit since you're in the frozen north

Found a few white trimmmed ones but no chrome.

Shipping is going to SUCK - I can tell you that. FedEx and UPS both RAPE people on shipping prices for things they consider "over sized" - even if the thing is as light as a feather.
Here's a link to my for sale add with the pics. The stuff needs some elbow grease, but as I said I'll make you a deal to get it out of my hair since I have zero use for it.
