I have been thinking about the same thing. Probably get a honda 2000 to start. Then maybe get a second one and connect together. That will give me 4000 for just a little more $ than the 3000. Not to mention they are so much lighter. My buddy has a 3000 and it does a good job but is pretty heavy to move and sticks up above the bed rails. Just my 2 cents. Still not sure on what I will do though.

You know you need the a/c, and you may need a generator to run the a/c, besides you have to have power to run the tv, vcr, dvd, stereo radio, charge your cell phone, laptop, satellite receiver, charge your batteries, beer cooler, party lites, water pump and besides not all WALMARTS allow camping in their parking lots and besides your brother who just retired as Chapter Leader of the Delaware Chapter may want to come a visit some time or use my camper. Now what do you think, did I leave out anything?
