blue w/ red stripe it's actually right behind the dimmer panel, just pop it out look at the connector on the dimmer side and half-tap that wire

Thanks raptor131. Taking a look at the Banks elbow there doesn't seem like much of a flat surface to tap into. anyone know if you can tap the pipe (from the intercooler) just before the elbow?

I wouldn't, it is heavy guage (black) plastic. Many get the accufab power intake elbow w/ the port already there. Mine is on the intercooler pipe before the intercooler. See gallery.

lonewolf, those look like ultra lites, if so, i like how they look. i was debating whether to get the ultra lite 2's or the original ones.

is there a reason you didn't put your EGT probe before the turbo down on the manifold?

Wink OK then . . .

They are Ultra lites. When I put them in they matched the KR guages pretty close w/ the green gell on the bulb. Also the II's weren't out yet.

Too much work to put probe on manifold. Yes, there is a differnece in temp reading but then again I really don't haul 10,000 lbs every day. I think too much is focused on where the hotest temps are and what the real need is for the reading.

I really don't think 80% of the folks here will note the temp issue in time when the diff betwen the two locations is only 300` to 500`. It is ur truck so do what you want . . .
