AD split shots?

I am looking at a 1997 Crew Cab and the guy said he put AD split shots in it. I ask him if his chip was burned for those or stockers just ahven't heard back from him yet. also it has not IC and i would guess that with those injectors EGT could get out of comtrol depending on how his chip is burned. what do you guys know about a set up like that? what cc's are those AD's and what type of horse could you expect from them with supporting mods. it has a 1.0 a/r exhuast housing no upgreaded oil from what he has told me. what are your thoughts?

Stock AD's? About 130cc's. Stock oil will run them fine, and from what I hear single shot programming works too.

thanks guys. He said the injectors were out of an 02. i guess I thought they flowed more than that. But thye will be an upgrade over the 90's in the other OBS trucks. More potential with a chip. I am going to buy the truck so I will find out what it can do. I haven't seen it in person yet but I am buying from tallfarmboy at TDS I just have to drive or fly to Mossouri to get it. He has been more than helpful in getting me the info I need about his truck! BTW it has 6" stacks!!!!!!

He is **** about his truck, so no worries on the maintenance. Truck will be as he described it I'm sure.

As far as the AD injectors, the stock 94-97 injectors flow 98cc's, the early 99 injectors flow ~120, the late 99 and up flow ~140cc's.

If the chip he is running calls for much over stock ICP then it will drop the high pressure oil, just like on a superduty.

Egt's will be fine, no worries, if the chip doesn't have some crazy timing built in it.

The splits will idle and run just fine with single shot programing, no issues there.

thanks vangeance! good to know you I am just getting into TDS so I don't know the people yet. The chip he has is a 3 program diablo, stock, 30, and 70 so he remembered and said that it does smoke much at all so it not a real hot chip. He did say that it would set a CEL if you went to the 70 program and stood on for a bit. but thats nothing a superduty pump wouldn't fix. I am going to seriously consider a pump and intercooler with the money i have left from my other truck. I am gonna let the loan do most of the work for me so I can spend a little money on the truck! don't tell my wife!! We are making plans for me to pick it up in two weeks! until then I gotta drive the wifes car and she gets to stay home.
