I hate to answer for jfralph but, sometimes a couple days go by before he is able to get back to us. He will correct me if I am wrong.

This truck is a replacement truck for an '03 that he had problems with. The dealership and Ford worked out an agreement with him and put him in this '05. I don't think it was a buy back per-say....but, was getting close. We had all hoped he would fair much better this time around.

Let's all remember that discussions regarding legal are strictly prohibited by site ownership.

Please review our guidelines:

I understand and know the rules. I just hate to see someone get the run around by Ford or the dealer when they both know these trucks have issues.

WHat is the reasoning behind, not being able to talk about and or discuss buy back issues. THat seems like something a forum should talk about, it can be very helpful if God forbid you had a problem like that! I Do Not Understand?????????????????????????

Actually, it does not.

If you have any questions about our guidelines feel free to contact ownership / operations. It is their rules...not mine.

https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/p...&userid=251089

Bottom line....This is a privately owned site. As with any privately owned site rules can be made and enforced at the will of management / ownership.

Nothing personal...it's just the way it is.

In this case I have full confidence in jfralph's intelligence and own personal will to proceed as he see's fit.

So let's stick to his truck issues and not provide legal advice.

Well I just was wondering, because I my self just experienced a buy back, Dodge bought back my 2006 Dodge Cummins Mega Cab. It's just very informative and helpful to have the proper info out there so people stuck with a very problematic $40k-$55k vehicle can take appropriate action! REally I hope we are all on the same team, so......

I understand completely and once upon a time we used to discuss these things freely...even though it has always been against site guidelines. But, being that you and I do not have a choice in the enforcement policy...we can either help with the fix for jfralph's truck....or delete the thread.

Since I have already removed a couple of posts and edited another one...thread removal would be the next step. Believe it or not, I am not particularly found of doing that.

You know I really am sorry if the thread got a little off but I thought we were just chatting back and forth about info that was somewhat similiar to where the thread was going???Didn't mean to be offensive or off track, I don't think I said something that would need to be erased????? I don't get what is going on here???THese threads do evolve a little bit, sometimes they go on little rabbit trails....Ya know that's OK....isn't it??

Trust me...I know... and actually encourage evolving threads. They just have to stay "Legal" ...so to speak.

BTW: If I had erased or edited anything you wrote...you would know.

Teenage kids can post anything they want to including nude pictures on "My Space" but grown-ups cant talk about actual problems they have had with Ford Trucks... yea that makes a lot of sense to me.

Sounds like sensorship to me...!

this website is to aid and assist WITHIN the guidelines. if you start talking about legal stuff you can be called to court. now who would go to court half way across the country, no one. that is one possible issue that could arise. your supposed to read the guidelines before you go blasting people on here. if you dont like it, go somewhere else because here we dont like trolls.

by the way, why you looking at naked teenage pictures??????????????
mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm?????????????

Not worth getting upset about, I will take it for what its worth and if I wish to speak freely I will post in another forum. I would post the other forums I belong to but I don't wish to cause any more waves here.

KW5413:

Sorry about anything I may have typed, I may have let the situation get the best of me.

But, I still would like a tech's read on the cycling of the fuel pump or injectors, or both after key is turned off. This is the fix that has been applied to my truck to cure light throttle surging with a cold engine. It this good, is it bad, is it harmful to these components or other components? Any info would be appreciated.

BTW, the cycling is supposed to purge any air that gets into the fuel system after shutdown.

One of the reasons I don't let my 15 year old daughter go to "My Space". But, she can read FTE at anytime. Makes a lot of sense to me.

If you want freedom of speech go to a Government supported site. This is a private site. As I have already stated...freedoms here are driven by the will / mandate of our private ownership.

Sounds like censorship? In case you don't hear good....This is what it looks like.

Sorry jfralph. I asked them to leave this alone.
