My cousin bought a new 2007 Ford F 150 XLT FX4 4X4 4.6 L and it started idling rough and hard. Started about 3 weeks of owning it. He bought it from Johson-Sewell Ford in Marble Falls. He took it them to fix it and they told him they would have to replace the motor something about the crank. Well they put in a new motor same problem. They sent a Ford Engineer down and he dosn't know what the problem is. He wants a new truck and wants Ford to make it right. If Ford dosn't make this right they will be losing a life long Ford driver.

If they have replaced the motor and that doesn't fix it and Ford wants to make it right what is with the last comment? Read other truck forums the dealers aren't any better. I have had my truck 2 years no rough idle. Are they getting him a rental when his truck is out of service?
They just got him a rental 2 days ago(his truck has been in the shop for 2 weeks) and they want him to keep this truck but don't know how to fix it. He wants to go out to the lot and pick a new truck for the same price. I drive nothing but Fords(2006 Powerstoke 4x4 lariat) and have never had any problems but if Ford won't fix his problem he will sue Ford and go by a Dodge or Chevy.
They don't know how to fix it. They already put in a new motor and had a Engineer down and still can't fix it. I'm not putting down Ford. My whole family will drive nothing but Ford. He is a life long Ford driver as well and just wants to get a new truck since Ford can't seem to fix the problem. They are the ones telling him that he has to keep the messed up truck. Ford said they would fix the problem but they can't seem to figure out how to do it. Would you want to pay for and drive a truck thats messed up? I know I wouldn't.
