My local track finally opened last Sunday. Drove down there (45 miles one way) to check it out. They totally rebuilt the facility and it is really nice. Concrete 1/8 mile, super smooth, new everything. Not alot of rubber on the track yet and I was spinning to the 330 ft so maybe the old girl's got a 7.90 in her. I'll keep yall posted.
All in all I had a great time and can't wait to go back.

Orangeburg Dragstrip just outside of North SC. Are you local? The strip is awsome. I live in Lexington and thats the closest dragstrip to me. I'd love to meet some of the FTE brothers.

 

All 3 of us (me, Diane, and npccpartsman) live right up I-26 in Hendersonville and Asheville, respectively.

I do alot of work at Roger Shiflett Ford in Gaffney. My stepfather is the sales manager there.
