Reason I was asking was because of that last part that I put in bold. If you still have stock springs and you just got lift from shackles and hangars, then you'll get more lift out of your rig with a V/B swap. The way you worded that last part has me curious, 3.5" lift is a LOT of shackle lift...
I apologize for my typing skills.
It has the Fabtech 3.5 kit.shackles and hangers.
and a 4.5 -5 block on the back springs.
My questions is if i do the swap in the front, will i have to go back to original shackles and hangers?
I don't really want more lift since is hard to find clearance for parking around town.
Not doing any towing or heavy loads at this time,so not sure if i need to do the back.

I'm going to point you towards the Sticky up top titled 'Excursion Forum Tech Folder', in there is a ton of info on the spring swap. The basics are they'll give you a bit more height, there's a chart around here somewhere that Tom has. The main thing is they're stiffer and help with the handling and ride characteristics. The rear springs are soft enough that the rear axle can wrap and cause some passive rear steer issues which contribute to the wandering steering issues. They're not the cure all for it but they do help.
Poke around that Sticky and see what you find. If you have more questions let us know!

The chart........
This is my Spring cheat sheet complied from various posts here on FTE mostly from old posts by bruce1954 and Monsta.
The following only applies to 4X4 EXs, the 2X4 rigs have coil springs upfront. All EXs came from Ford with G code rear springs, the V-8 EXs all came with B (front B code is much different than rear B code, confused yet?) 4100lb, all V-10 EXs came with C code fronts at 4300lb and all PSD EXs had D codes at 4700lbs.
All the other codes discussed come from SuperDuty trucks (they came with springs that don't suck from Ford.)
Spring........Capacity.....Rate lbs/".....Max travel.....V-10 change.....PSD change
B (V-8)......4100lbs.......330 lb/".........5.02"...........-0.25".............-0.66"
C (V-10)....4300lbs.......350 lb/".........5.01".............0.00"............-0.37"
D (PSD).....4700lbs.......380 lb/".........5.14"...........+0.33".............0 .00"
S codes.....4000lbs.......370 lb/".........4.34"...........+1.22"............+0 .88"
T codes.....4400lbs.......390 lb/".........4.63"...........+1.42"............+1 .11"
U codes.....4800lbs.......410 lb/".........4.89"...........+1.60"............+1 .32"
V codes.....5200lbs.......430 lb/".........5.13"...........+1.77'............+1 .50"
W codes....5600lbs.......450 lb/".........5.34"...........+2.77'............+2 .52"
X codes.....6000lbs.......470 lb/".........5.54"...........+2.90"...........+2. 68"
W codes are from F-450s and X codes are from F-550s and other SD trucks with snow plow prep.
The above spring info has been gathered from posts here on FTE by "monsta" and "bruce1954".
Per Rob Ross's research the stock Ex rear springs are single rate units rated at 430lbs/inch and B codes (un modded) are dual rates at 320/670lbs/inch transitioning to the higher rate at 3300lbs with a total rating of 5990lbs. C codes (un modded) are also dual rate units at 330/650lbs/inch transitions to the higher rate at 3562lbs with a total rating of 5590lbs.

He was already given directions to the sticky thread when I answered his VM, but thanks for reiterating!
Salt, if you have stock Excursion springs on your rig right now and you swap them for a set of V codes up front and B codes out back, you will have an increase in height.
VM = Visitor Message. And yeah, anyone can see those, you just click on a users Public Profile and all the VM's are right there. Besides, that really wasn't for you. I wanted to make sure Salt knew I had responded to the VM he posted on my profile. Stewart
Excuse me, I'm new...? Lol. I knew that... brain fart.

Yes, but keep in mind that is the SRW C code, DRW is 350/730.
