I actually believe it's one of the few pour-in products that has a real effect. I've heard positive reports from many FTE users, and have no reason to think it doesn't work.
I have used it for years in all my vehicles. Dries out the fuel, cleans carb and injectors. When I see a decrease in my MPG I pour a can in the fuel tank, works every time.
SeaFoam has worked great for de-carbonizing combustion chambers and valves (poured through intake). I prefer Marvel Mystery Oil for crankcase sludge removal and curing sticky lifters.
I pour a can in the tank every 5000 miles, as a preventative measure. At 68000 miles, my Ranger is running great and I'm getting the best fuel economy (17.5-18 mpg) since I've owned it.
On the bottle it says pour it in using a vacuum line such as the PVC tube. I'm a little curious, exactly where should you insert the stuff and how would you do it on a 3.0 liter?

Any vacuum line that runs through the intake will work.
I have had good results using this through the intake and as a fuel stabilizer when in storage. I am just apprehensive about putting anything in my oil. I just run a good synthetic to keep everything clean. Even using a quality dino oil, as long as it is changed regularly, will keep everything clean.
I guess I was looking for a little bit more information. Do you simply stick the vacuum line into the bottle and let it suck up the stuff until you reach the recommended dosage (1/3 of the bottle is what they advertise).

That's it. The trick is to make sure the engine doesn't stall completely, at least until you want it to.
