I have heard of others having their PCM burned with their tuning for singleshot injectors. That way, if they have a chip malfunction or want a reburn, they can run without the chip installed.

 

PHP lists a PCM reflash service on their website. I didn't see a price listed so you might need to give them a call or send an e-mail for a quote.

Php burns pcms as well. IIRC it's around $100. Looked on their site but the pcm flash still under construction.

 

Man, that's a great idea. IF (big if) I ever am in the way of being able to put some nice sticks and a good turbo in mine, I'm gonna see what Jody thinks about that.

 

Well mine does have my 80 econo burnt On my PCM. But this ? was for something else. So as of now my truck will keep its current tuning.

 

I have my emissions tune for my SS injectors burned on mine so I can pull the chip for SMOG testing.

 

My spare PCM has a modified stock single shot tune in case I have to pull the tuner.

Don't know what I was thinking getting a stock tune burned because
I now wish I would have had it burned with 60E or 80E tune.

If you're going to get a PCM burned for single shots think about what turn it's going to be.
