CharlyG, the rice paper thing made me laugh out loud when I read it, I'm sorry I overlooked it. I bet the cotton in my Fram Air Hog is grown in China. Or maybe it's hemp fiber.

Looks like a K&N - too much space inbetween the fibers. Hmm... I could floss with that.

I installed a K&N in our '98 V10 Club Wagon: 15.7mpg hwy w/AC@70mph--exact results as the stock paper cleaner. At a standing start taking off, now that's a different story; that monster moves!! I put the stock filter back in; anyone want a cheap, used K$N?
