And the original question for all was " in my 04 v10 i put in a K&N air filter. i got a little better gas mileage, not much but a little. i recently took it out to clean it and i cleaned it numerous times and it would not come copmletely clean. any one else had this problem?"

I have a SBT ( same design as a K&N, Just bigger ) filter on my modified Ford Lightning , 400 + RWH, When I can get 3-5 lbs more boost with that type filter,, thats what I need..I don't have one on my V10, cause a stock motor won't benifit from more flow..

The Whipple cost me $4000. The dealer that I bought it from charged me $1000 for labor. But, he also installed the Water Injection Kit, Electric Fans, and Electric Water Pump that was included in the price for labor.
